D20 is filling out the SSAR. Her school gives trimester grades only (no final grade). She looked at the FAQ, and there isn’t any explanation of what to do in that case.
Does anyone know how she should fill out the SSAR? Tried calling the office of admissions to ask, but they are closed and the deadline is Sunday.
If your school assigns trimester grades and a final grade, only use the final grade, the class is a year-long class you will use the final grade and enter it twice in the SSAR. If the class is only for one trimester, enter the final grade on either the first or second semester field.
@Melissa96 thanks! But, her classes are year-long classes, and they do not assign final grades. So she receives exactly three grades for each class; one for each trimester.
Take Biology. Say she got a B+ first trimester, an A- second trimester and A third trimester. Should she enter her B for biology in semester 1, A for biology in semester 2, and A again for biology in semester 2? Sorry I am not understanding and thanks for helping!
Gotcha, with no final grade, you would average the 3 trimester grades and then put that grade in for both semesters. In your example, the average of those three grades is a 3.67 which is an A- so you would put that in for both semesters.
