<p>I took it in november. I used the Ssat practice tests and got low scores on those (70) and ended up with a 94% overall
I am applying to Taft hotchkiss Westminster Brooks middlesex and st georges

<p>I used Princeton Review, Kaplan & Peterson’s, and my practice test scores went from a 62% to a 95%. I also went to the Quizlet SSAT Full Vocab page and learned any unfamiliar words from there, and now, whenever I take a practice test, I seem to know almost every word. Now I’ve been doing last minute flashcard-making from my brother’s SAT prep book. I also take Latin, so words like pulchritude are easy for me. (it means physical beauty, and pulchra in Latin means beautiful :slight_smile: ) GOOD LUCK!</p>

<p>I am taking mine on December 10th as well. Oh, and Cherry Rose we’re applying for all the exact same school (love a little friendly competition. lol just kidding) The first time I took the test i got 75% which was alright but not if I want to be sure to get into</p>

<p>Just keep in mind that this is a small part of your whole application. After you take the test, just shrug it off and focus on the rest of your application.</p>

<p>I might retake SSAT in january because today was VERY hard :frowning: I had a friend who did and shes at a really good school :slight_smile:
I studied sooo hard I even got a 90% on the practice test
But i sincerely doubt I did better than a 70 on the one that actually counts</p>

<p>Today’s test was extremely hard. I definitely agree with Soccer251996. I took the test sometime in October and it was 1,000,000 times easier than today’s. My theory is that the later you take your test the harder it gets because you have more time to study.</p>

<p>I’m starting to think that too, I wonder if its worth retaking.
Novembers test was really easy know that I think of it I just wasn’t prepared and I did poorly</p>

<p>Same here. Well, I did alright but not well enough for the schools I want. If I was taking the October test now I would have passed with flying colors.</p>
