I'm leaving to go take the SSAT and I'm freaking out. I didn't study at all.
(My best friend had a stroke and for awhile I decided that I was just going to go to public school, but then I had an entire moment and yeah...)
So I barely studied, and I didn't find time to take a practice test (I was in the hospital....okay?) What should I do? What happens if I have an asthma attack during the test?!?

Well, do tell what happened! I’m concerned… Yeah, I know this is a pretty late post.

I got AROUND a 70%. (I’m obviously not going to say my real score :P)

It won’t help me get into a school like Andover, but I think it’ll get me into a decent school :)

I’m proud of that score, I guess, due to my lack of studying. :P

I think that there’s a section in the parent recommendation about this, or something like “is there anything we should know about you child’s schooling?”. You could put it in there. I had my parents write about how I was sick and missed a lot of school and thats why my grades slipped about. But don’t write the thing for your parents, thats just wrong.

I wouldn’t write anything for my parents, even though my mother’s first language isn’t English. I think I might ask them do that for me, thanks :)

I didn’t edit either. For some reason… since they mentioned background and considering you in terms of that… I think that broken English will help me overall. I dunno. :D
