SSAT or SAT?

Hi,

I got my January SSAT scores and am completely satisfied except for the reading comprehension. I took the SAT and received a perfect score on critical reading. But on the SSAT, I received an 89. I was kind of shocked! I didn't study for it but the passages were not the kind of scientific journal/reflective pieces I liked on the SAT. But more or less, I thought, reading comprehension is reading comprehension. So Which is more difficult? Your thoughts?

SSAT, esp the lower test, is BORING, capitals on purpose–one of the problems that students have reported consistently is trying to keep their concentration on passages that are devoid of any challenge or interest. The passages are quite different than one will see on the SAT or ACT.
