SSAT Percentile?

Actually, I was told the opposite by one school. They said that it would be hard to bring a child up to speed on math if the foundation weren't already in place, whereas, it would be easier to improve a child's verbal and reading by having the student read A LOT and work on vocabulary.</p>

Interesting. I suppose it depends on the school. Also, perhaps it's less critical in Grade 6 or 7 versus Grade 9 or 10, since there's more time to build math skills.</p>
