Ssat score!!!!

xD
i think he was being sarcastic, but its ALSO possible that i just sense non existent sarcasm.

haha, i got the same score in math. 93%. and 99% in reading and verbal. even though i skipped two grades in math. oh yeah, and im chinese.

nasafato, i don't think the skipping a grade in math really helped me that much either. i thought i would do really well, but i got a 91% on the math section. (which is still great i've realized just not what i had expected having skipped a grade?) ..but i'm not chinese haha i'm portuguese and irish

haha lol, but i knew i would "bomb" math. i just had this gut instinct that i would. in my algebra 2 class, i kinda, well, sucked at all those calculations. which translated into a bad score in math on the SSAT's. but im doing amazing in geometry. i guess i'm just more inclined towards geometry than algebra.

I can't remember any algebra 2 from when I took the test.

oh, no, i didn't say there was algebra 2. it's just a class i took. i wish imath counted for more in your application, but that's only if you do like ap calculus in your freshman year. which i unforunately dont.

nasafato: dude your scores make me feel sad. i'm chinese too and i have 99% for both math and verbal but a 74% in reading. which sucks compared to yours. ohwell. i didn't study for the test because it was smack right during my midterms. there's no way i'm ever gonna take it again though. ssat spells s-t-r-e-s-s-f-u-l.

I did poorly in my math (61) but got 99s in reading and vocab, for a total of 98. I am going to be taking AP calc as a junior, and have always had A+s in math, including Alg 2 honors. Will this hurt me a lot?

AP calc as a junior? How many skipped grades is that? Someone help... I'm not really familiar with high school math progression, since my public school doesn't offer much.

The math sequence at my school is: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calc, AP Calc AB, AP Calc BC, this is just for the "gifted" kids. The "others" go like this: Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Fundamentals of Algebra/College Algebra, Trig/Pre-Calc, AP Calc AB. The whole sequence with the dashes is just a fancy way of saying a two year long Pre-Calc. Gosh I wish I had more going for me...I'm trying to get math to be my "hook." (I would be in AP Calc next year--9th grade.)

Did you get a perfect score in the math section on the SSAT?

I took the ISEE
Verbal Reasoning-99
Vocab-98
Quantitative Reasoning-81
Math Achievement-82
Is it still possible to get into a HADES school with theses scores?

did pinkheart say ap calc in 9th grade!!! i feel so behind- im only in alg 1 for 8th grade! i got a 98 on my math ssat though- so maybe not skipping any grades helped? oh well... but seriously- ap calc!

lol nice

I don't want to be white either if it's inconvenient.
