SSAT Scores: Who Sees the Scores?

In case you were wondering....

Straight from the horse's mouth:

Schools on your list will receive scores for THAT test only.
Schools will NOT see the list of schools to whom scores were sent.

My son took the SSAT in 7th and 8th grades as required by his current school. Those scores were not sent to any schools but are **on **his current school record. They won't get the essays but they will see what the scores were.
In our case, it's not a bad thing (unless his 9th grade score goes down I guess).

Linda-you should talk to D'yer about his experience with the school releasing the entire file and not just the transcript as is requested on the application.

Unless you are aware of every single item in your child's file OR ask the school to only send the transcript, you have no idea what is sent. Of course, if the file is full of wonderful things of all sorts, then it works in your favor! :)

I will definately ask to see exactly what is sent. I know I asked about the mid-term reports and comments because he got some not-so-good ones of those, but then managed to get the grades up by the end of the term. But I do not know if any disciplinary issues are included. I asked about the SSAT scores and they told me that they are included in the school's file.
