Here’s my profile:
African American, female, Midwest, top 8 statechampionship swimmer (breast stroke) for 5 years., 4.0 at an independent day school, Cross Country 4 years, MVP for 2 years and captain this year, 1st place Forensics (storytelling and prose) 4 years, NJHS, 95th percentile national Frech exam, volunteer swim instructor 1 year, forensics coach for 5/6 team for 2 years, tutor for 2 years. Schools: Choate, Lawrenceville, Peddie and Miss Porters. I need FA. I’m not great at standardized testing. What SSAT scores will I need? Do I stand a chance?

what grade are you applying for?
9th grade (I’m an 8th grader).
mid 80’s on the SSAT and I’d think given the rest of your background you have a reasonably good chance.
You have great qualifications! But just like what @divdad said, you need to have a SSAT score of mid 80’s and above. The higher score the better chances, however, other application materials are also taken into consideration. Good luck on your boarding school application process!
