Just wanted to ask.
My friend got 96th percentile for getting a 2264 on her SSAT
I got a 73 percentile for getting a 2134
Does 100ish score drastically change the percentile?
Is this normal?
Thank you

Thhank you for your reply!!
I just started grade 8 in September. I did the test in October and then in January. Despite studying hard for a couple of months with a tutor and on my own I got even lower score that on my first attempt. We use all available ssat guide and ssat practice test on the website. I did well on all - my raw score was way above average. What I am doing wrong? Thanks all for input.
We know a lot of kids who got lower and lower scores as time went on.
Frankly, I think it is due to anxiety since the stakes feel higher.
@pinkiecake: Your lower score was probably due to test anxiety as @CaliMex wrote.
What does your tutor think caused your poor performance ?
Hey, I have a friend who got a score in the 95th percentile and she only earned 6 more points than me. I scored in the 91st percentile.
ohh wow…so just a little point difference really makes the difference. you still did amazing!
