<p>I'm currently working on my tufts supplement... i've filled out all the information on the commonapp blanks, but when i go to "print preview," all of my information there is displayed correctly EXCEPT the SSN line is left blank, although I have it entered on the commonapp supplement page.</p>
<p>What should I do?
Should I just submit it now, and call them later if they do not receive my SSN through the regular commonapp information page?</p>
<p>This doesn’t really answer your question but I just wanted to mention that the only reason to put your ssn on your app is if you’re applying for financial aid.</p>
<p>Not to worry: some institutions opt to suppress the SSN from pdf or print preview on the Common App, but they can still retrieve it. Tufts is one. Various institutions suppress various bits of information… this exercised us too as our 3 kids grappled with the Common App in recent years --and then we finally figured it out!</p>

<p>Member Schools have the ability to suppress certain information. If they do, this information will not show up on the school-specific print preview PDF on the Signature page. They will, however, be able to access this information if it is saved in your application when they download it for review.</p>
<p>You can check to see if a school has chosen to suppress any information from your application on the Future Plans page.</p>
<p>Below is a list of items schools can suppress:</p>
