Going to the revisit day at St. Andrew's on Tuesday.</p>
<p>My D will be visiting Tuesday also with my DH. We are very interested in finding out more about the character of residential life as the student handbook gives the impression of school rules which haven't changed much since 1959 when the dress code was relaxed to allow gentlemen to go sock-less and tie-less in September and May.</p>
<p>My daughter returned from her revisit day at St Andrew's thrilled. She was able to negotiate an overnight on dorm, attend a birthday party, visit Spanish, English and History classes and have a private hour walk/chat with a teacher (!) Now she wants that teacher as her advisor - so things went really well. </p>
<p>We were nervous dropping her off, it seemed so gloomy, drizzly, dark gothic architecture... but after her host appeared, everything seemed to go well.
It has been such a long adventure just to get to this part, and now the real lengthy part begins.</p>
