St Anthony Hall

just curious,
does anyone actually know what the deal is?
do u for real pay 10,000 a semester or is this just rumor?
does anyone know any concrete details?
thnx!

rather random thing to bring up here.

st. a’s is a national fraternal organization that has a few other houses at other campuses, was previously i believe delta psi fraternity before removing its greek letter affiliation.

some members are notoriously secretive, but i knew someone who did a boo-boo and got booted, and she spilled. you pay for housing and food which is certainly far more than what you pay to live in columbia housing, but it is not off the richter. most of the rumors regarding the ‘tests’ of membership are phibs, but it does cater to a certain clientele. the fullest description of st. a’s is actually a yale daily news article about the yale chapter.

regardless - they throw some solid parties in their very nicely appointed house that commoners can go to.

most students however live without noticing or caring about st. a’s, and most of the members don’t really make such a huge fuss about it that it matters. and frankly the wealthiest folks i knew at columbia were not in st. a’s, so there isn’t some relationship there.
