does anyone have any information on this or a link. I have only seen it listed, but can't find any info on it. How does it work?

brownorbust - A number of excellent liberal arts colleges participate in Columbia Law School's Accelerated Program in Interdisciplinary Legal Education (AILE) where a couple students from each school are selected to participate. From an earlier thread here's is an excerpt of what I wrote in answering a similar question:

"The College of Wooster participates in the Accelerated Program in Interdisciplinary Legal Education (AILE) with Columbia University, whereby two Wooster students may be admitted to Columbia School of Law after their junior year. The students are selected jointly by the College and Columbia School of Law. Applications are made through the Pre-Law Committee chairperson at the College. Students accepted into this 3-3 program receive their B.A. from Wooster after completing their first year at Columbia. In addition, this program requires that students incorporate twelve hours of interdisciplinary study into their law school program after the first year."

The AILE program is Columbia Law School's name for the program as well and I would recommend anyone who is interested to contact Columbia Law directly for a listing of the colleges that participate.

I believe Rice is also a participant, though it is not an LAC.
