Yah... I didn't apply to Deerfield. I've never seen the building, but I've heard amazing things about it! Exeter had a really nice sceince facility too.

yeh, they put alotttttt of money into the new Exeter science facility, its really nice. Also, i have no idea and havenever even heard of Governors rink. Exeters is kinda and older feeling to it, but too much concrete. Andovers rink is really new, ive skated on the Andover and St Pauls rink, they are both new arenas, but i personally prefer the Andovers ice, because it is colder and the ice is faster.

Oh, trust me, Deerfield spent a lot more on their Koch Science Center - $68,000,000 to be exact. An awful lot to make a building look like the mothership, in my opinion...

plus, Exeter has $900,000,000 to spend(more than any other prep school by atleast 50mil), so dont think deerfield has more money. campuses and facilities are all opinionated.. for example... im a goalie so i liek a colder arena becuz the ice is harder and slicker, players on the other hand like ice that they can get there blades into.

I didn't like Andover's campus too much- very, very spread out and the like. Too large for me. I loved the larger student body, but I don't like how spread out the campus buildings are.

Exeter's was gorgeous! Very collegial, I liked the varied heights of streets and buildings- Andover's was on one visual plane, no interesting architectural or environmental distractions.

yeh, i feel exactlyyyy the same SAER, i couldnt agree more. i just felt out of place at Andover. A nice hockey rink, but Andovers buildings didnt give me a "home" feeling. Not very warm feeling. Just some fancy school buildings and always construction on them and yeah, the back dorms all the way to the far math classes. just annoying. the graveyard makes me iffy right there and i wouldnt want to get stuck in those dorms that arent close to the others. very interesting art building. too bad i hate art =)

exeter had the central Boston feeling with the ritzy classic new england colonial homes and i feel like i could just fall asleep outside in the quads. everything is generally close, except the hockey rink =(

I liked Andover's campus more than Exeter's campus. Although Andover is very spread out, you can't help but notice its beauty. The grounds are so green and lush and the rustic beauty of the brick buildings is amazing. I don't like the location of Exeter's campus. Kinda suburban with streets going throught it. I think I prefer a more rural setting.

SPS's campus was gorgeous. It had medieval architecture, looked like something out of Europe. The chapel and library were AMAZING!

yeh, quiet annoying and very distractful in a bad way. i had a great tour and a wonderful interview at Andover, but i didnt like the setup of the campus. they seem to take the normal square campus idea like "quads" that most college and BS schools have and sqished it into a rectangle, theres no "main area' ... every class is randomly scattered.

yehhhhh, favorite thing about SPS was the library, i got a shiver when i looked out over the lake from the library. if you could just go in there when no one was there and sit on the couch, i could just stare for hours. also, they get to skate on the lakes over the winter!.. sorry just another hockey fantasy, but the first ligitimized hockey game in america was on those lakes. it was only a few months after hockey had been invented in canada that they came down to new hampshire to play the first game.

I love the library man...and the library dude was really nice. I better get into SPS lol, I want to go pretty bad. And it makes my decision between football and soccer 10x easier, cuz their football team sucks and their soccer team is pretty legit.

haha nice. yeh all their sports are bad for me. hockey, football, track lol .... well idk about their track. also, im looking for a bigger school like Exeter and Andover, but i guess i could get used to St Pauls

To me I think Exeter's Campus is TOO college-like, but very nice campus, the dorms were a little cramped though. I like Andover's campus because its so spread apart, good excercise! :)
