St. Paul's School Concord NH

meh, sps will own

mehkins- Unfortunately.... I can't go back for a revisit. I really wanted to, but I've already missed too much school. ( I forgot to fill out a form saying that I was going to be absent for a week. I was going for my interviews then.) I'm Joyce, by the way. And if ya'll couldn't tell, I'm a girl. lolz

I am definitly going to SPS.
:D

wooo! New students!

Just think in a year from now you'll be on spring break like I am right now, for 3 whole weeks! ha

UR A GIRL??
lol, the internet is decieving, kk, i look forward to being intellectual peers w/ u and whoever else reads my posts

wow...
ok- Who else thought that I was a guy?
wow...
that's ok. My username really doesn't say much.
lolz
=^_^=

gobigred12 - I don't want to question a current student but sandals and flip flops are DEFINITELY kosher for classes. It's printed in the dress code in the School Handbook and that's all my child will wear all Spring. Closed toed shoes are definitely not required.

can someone tell me about sports at sps? is it hard to make JV sports?
like, i heard from the soccer coach that it is a rather competitve sport, and idk about lacrosse and basketball.

can you tell me how selection and athletics work around sps?

I thought that the first year at SPS- all 3rd formers had to take P.E.
And that you couldnt really do varsity sports until your next year...

well, im not too sure, but the coach said that there were many spots made on the varsity soccer team, and he talked to my dad about the sports.

like, i'm guessing that there is such an option, but i don't rly know. it'd be kinda annoying if you couldn't pursue ur sport interests, i'm sure SPS is btr than that, lol.
also, i had to fill out a form stating which sports teams i wanted to try out for, so i think you don't hav to take P.E

Oh sorry because it says sandals and not specifically not flip flops I thought they weren't allowed, plus because I hardly ever never see kids wear them in class.
But please don't use caps, it feels like you're yelling at me...

Soccer competition was particularly tough last fall. I know halfway decent athletes/soccer players who were cut from the JV squad. I am less familiar with JV basketball or lacrosse. You can play varsity as a 3rd former although it isn't easy to make the teams. I've seen more 3rd form girls play Varsity than guys.

In addition to Varsity and JV, many sports have Club level teams. Club soccer is very popular and is supposed to be a really fun time. It's coed and a great way to meet other students, get some exercise and have less commitment then an interschool team.

lol, CAPS ARE FUN THOUGH

oh
hmm...like I said earlier, I'm not that good at sports or extremely athletic...
I was not really aware of my athletic choices.

I wonder if they have yoga.... t hath would be fun.

Not yelling just emphasizing my certainty. :) No offense intended - it was only one word after all.

I have another ?-

Does anyone actually have 2 roommates, or is anyone actually wanting 2 roommates?

just wondering

kk
thx creative

so wait, other than me and d2g, who else is goin to sps nxt year?

At SPS we don't have a PE class because everyone is required to do a sport, and you can do a varsity sport no matter what form you're in.

And a lot of kids at SPS play soccer, so for the people who don't make jv or varsity there is club soccer which is coed soccer and there it is divided into skill level by A and B team and then you are divided into three clubs (Isthmian, Delphian, Old Hundred). So most kids who do not make jv soccer play club.

Basically at SPS you can try out for any of the sports and if you do not make the team you can take fitness (you work out at the gym for an hour), or any of the other club sports

So there are a lot of choices even if you are nonathletic.

yea, i heard most 3rd formers have double rooms, but during other forms you have singles

my friend Jake is prbly going to SPS, so i wouldn't mind rooming with him.
did i mention he is a nationally recognized diver? lol
It's rly easy to see the types of people SPS accepts. Different, unique, and cool people. lolo

And if you do fitness there are yoga and pilate classes offered.

nice, that sounds AWESOME!
if i do make JV tho, will i be like, respected? lol, cuz i always fish for recognition
