how hard is it to get all high honors? how long do you have to study? do you even have time for other activities?

Its not a studying thing. You just have to be brilliant.

Only the really talented kids get all HH's.
And the amazing few still manage to have social lives at the same time.

HAHAHAAA, OMG, that was hilarious
few still manage to have "social" lives

i'm not lookin to be #1 at sps, not by a long shot. i just want to do my best, get adequatly great grades, get into a good college, and actually talk w/ other human beings :)

I say that you should just have a goal to try your hardest in every aspect of school life, because often the kids who have the highest of grades are lacking in other areas. And personally I think that the point of coming to SPS is to become a well rounded person.

heck yes indeed. is lacrosse a competitive sport at sps? cuz if no, i think i hav a chance of makin jv.....my goal is to dominate in social life, because jocks at my current skewl are the most respectable >: (

I got accpeted to St. Pauls, because I'm smart.

sry, taht wasn't me....that was my school chum

haha... From what I hear lax is pretty comp, though I could be wrong. :)

LAX is going to be better than ever. New, very respectable coach and all.

They where only 6-10 last year, but lots of returning seniors.

You can bet your bottom dollar we'll be better this year.

What hockey team are you on hockeykid? JV or Varsity

sps lax is one of the best teams the school fields. the sport favors athleticism and this team attracts great athletes at sps from hockey, football, hoops, etc. coach colbert is a great asset and has a lot of credibility with the players. plus, he is a real good man.

We're sold!

Soccer team looks pretty good...they lost 15 seniors though. So unless there are some beast strikers on JV I should be a started. I'm gunna have to work my ass off and get in shape though. The season up here is in spring...so I'm always in shape after basketball.

With all those trails in SPS..I may have to do some jogging before tryouts. The first game is late September... we get to school nearly mid September! Man, if I don't come ready I'll find myself on JV. Also I love those soccer uniforms!...they look so pro. The basketball ones kind of look corny in my opinion.

SPS 2009-2010 Calender

I wonder when first day of school is 9/2010?

I believe it's September 9th, not on that calender though.

Do freshman athletes show up for the week early practice deal as well??

Are athletes suppose to show up a week early? I really have no clue about much of this...I just know the normal move in say for SPS is Sept. 9th

Would be nice to know if fall athletes show up a week earlier though...It'd make sense. I don't see how you fit in tryouts, conditioning, and practices in that period of time. Varsity last year started on the 13th! You have to be kidding me, there must be an earlier date for athletes.

I was basing what I said before on the JV schedule, last year a scrimmage was set up fro 1 day after people entered school. Anyone have any info on this?
