<p>Hey, I really need to take the October ACT. Up till now I kinda forgot about because I assumed there was a November ACT but there isn't. October is the date when I need to take it but unfortunately I noticed this October 6th. One day past the deadline. Am I screwed or is there a good chance of getting a spot as a stanbyer.</p>
<p>Your school guidance office should have standby registration forms available. Fill this out BEFORE test day. The ACT registraion form is long and takes a long time to fill out. My son took it standby with no problem. Bring the completed standby registration form and your checkand you should be fine. If your GC says it will be impossible to get in on standby, go to a neighboring school and try to get in there.</p>
<p>if u do standby for the sat, do you not have to pay the late reg fee for nov?</p>
