Stand-By -- Question

i took the test as a stand-by.. will i find my scores online? i mean, will they be able to match my test to my online accound based on my information and put it on there, or do i have to wait until i get the letter in the mail?

wat's stand-by anyways lol

when you don't make either the regular or the late deadline for the test

i didn't know i was taking it again until this past week.. i got a 34 on the april one, but my friend talked me into taking again just to see if i could do better... if i do worse, then no college will ever see this score, and if i do better, then great.. so it was a no-lose situation.. so i decided to take it REALLY late.. it also costs $84 instead of the normal $44.50

SATs and ACTs are fun. I really enjoy taking them, and if not for the cost I would do them as much as possible.

nerd..

just kidding

i just hope that they'll be able to put it online..
any info on this?

yah, id really like to know b/c I took it as a standby

iwaswalking..... are you serious??? fun???

these tests are spawns of satan...

^agreed..im not gonna lie though, getting your results is pretty fun!

my april one was fun.. my others weren't because my reading SUCKED BADLY

lol i remember when i was so pumped as a sophmore to get a 25 then 28..if i had been on this site then, i would have felt retarded

bump

10 char

but yeah, does anyone know about my situation?

since i was stand-by, will I have to wait until they mail me my scores or will they be able to link the information I gave them in my registration packet (and actual ACT too) with the information on my online account so that they can post it online?

i would think they could match it since youve taken the test before peytoncline

Maybe check your online account now and see if you're listed as having registered for the June test? I've never taken a test as a standby so I'm not really sure what to tell you.

good idea highhopes..if it says registered you should be fine

right now, the june 2008 act isn't even listed on my account (b/c i didn't register).. so i guess until that is put on there, i won't know

Hmm, well I guess technically you didn't register (or you didn't register early enough). Maybe your June test date will show up when they upload your scores, in which case you'd get them the same time as everyone else. Although you may end up waiting for a later score report. Hopefully they'll get your scores up next Wednesday when everyone else's are posted!

i hope so.. i know that scores for stand-by people take longer, but hopefully it won't be too long
