<p>Some background: Last year (10th grade) I got a C in chemistry honors due to being completely lethargic and not putting effort into my schoolwork. Will getting a good score on SAT Chem and self studying AP Chem offset my poor Chem H grade by even a little bit? I heard that self-studying for AP Tests generally shows laziness especially when the AP course is already offered at your school.</p>
<p>I think it would be better if you took AP chem at your school if possible to show that you really were able to improve</p>
