Standerdized Test Scores

I am a current 8th grader applying to Andover, Exeter, and Lawrenceville. I have all A's in school, I play three sports, and I am the captain of my school's debate team. The problem is that my SSAT scores were low. I took the ISEE after the SSAT, and did much better.

SSAT Score: Verbal- 65% Quantitative Reasoning-66% Reading Comprehension- 84% Total-73% (Disappointing)

ISEE Score: Verbal-86% Quantitative Reasoning- 85% Mathematics Achievement-85% Reading Comprehension-98%

Assuming my interviews went well and my teachers wrote great recommendations, do I have a chance, or are my SSAT scores to low?

I think that these schools know about grade inflation between school grades and SSAT scores. I am also an all A student and I got a 52% on the SSAT. Your ISEE scores are really good though! You have a chance at all these schools and I wish you the best on March 10!

It’s still within the range of accepted students. Don’t worry. (Says me, worrying my rear end off for M10…) I’m being hypocritical, I know. :)
