hey lost!

I'm still waiting on Wesleyan, which also happens to be releasing decisions on the 15th. Good luck with Stanford!

Hey, they all suffer so damn much. Gotta give em somethin' least once - no?
[/quote]
For most po' folks, I suppose this is true. Money just isn't something I prioritize very highly. Very necessary, yes, but not worth suffering over. Not that I spend it quickly, I just don't sweat not taking in so much to spend.

I think that attitude's been a virtue, but for some reason, society seems to view that attitude as some kind of disability. I'm not out for a free ride, but financial aid sure helps with the true priorities.

Looks pretty good. Congrats again!

lost, whats that next stage with the grief model?

Anyhow, mlpql_m, see you at the big game!

iceweasel huh?

Heh, Debian lenny distro.

is it possible then that b/c of FA, mlpql_m got his decision early?

^^ doubt it. looks like this is similar to the UC situation. oh well, can't access :(

where are some of last year's stanford admits (liek Catcherny) - did they have the same thing too?

loooks like we are all rejected

No one else can see what I see? I really suspect that more than one person on CC must have gotten in. If noone else can get into axess, then maybe this is sign of nothing at all.

Couldn't it just be for people that applied for FA? Do we have anybody who didn't apply for FA and still said their account was activated?

m____lpqulasmdf , did u apply for FA?

Possibly only FA. But doubtful considering there are VERY few who will be getting in this year.

Who knows anything about last year's case? Did something similar occur?

mlpql_m, have you tried logging into the admitted students site. Does it let you in?

https://admit.stanford.edu/

It accepts my sunet ID and says "Authorization Required This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required."

What happens for you?

I applied for FA, but that hasnt been completed yet (dont ask, dumb parents), so iunno. I honestly really dont care if I get in or not (not first choice), but I still wouldnt base your status on SUNet ID. They could be gradually entering the ID numbers, or any other number of reasons that would cause some to be up but others not up within the same millisecond.

Congratulations to you, person with odd symbols for names.

The rest of you should wait patiently for the deadline though.

Yea, I can get in there.

I think your decision is quite clear if you've got access to the admit site...

Again, it is clear that if you have access to the admit site, you are in, but whether or not the activation was done by the FA office or not is important. m_______ did you apply for FA?

Catcherny was admitted the year before last. Jacob was the only person from last year's Stanford transfer thread that said he got in.
