Stanford Anxiety

Ok. To be honest , Stanford is the only school that fits my personality and I cannot see any other school that just fills me with passion inside out.The thing is , I know that my essays are great and my EC's(especially research) have definitely stood out in my common application. It's just that I'm an Indian and only about 5-10 of them get accepted to Stanford every year.Secondly, my IB Grades( GPA-38/42 and predicted 39-40/42) are borderline or on the lower side. I don't want it to mess up my chances of getting in, Could anyone give me any advice to help me calm down? Thanks :(
SAT 1: 2350 (third sitting.)

EC's
1. Selected to be a part of the school's economic club.

4. Winter Break Linguistics Camp
5. Designer of my school's economics blog.
6. Winner of a national science fair.(Team leader)
7. Research Project at a top notch university in my country.(It has been published in the university website)
8. Another independent research project at Siemens Ltd.
9.Organiser of Math fairs for an NGO( I regularly give speeches during these fairs)
10 Started a campaign to make government awareness brochures more "visually appealing".(This shall feature on my Common app essay). The campaign has drastically increased the attendance at various government run medical camps.
12.Delegate of several MUN's including the Harvard Model UN
13. Tennis Team in a multi activity club: Won several club level tournaments
14. Active Member of the school's environment club(Started a campaign within the club).
15.Script Editor at school theatre productions

I have outstanding recommendations from my Math and Physics teachers.
I also have an excellent recommendation from the professor of Material Sciences in the institute that I had worked in as an intern.
So, I basically stand out because of my campaign , my research and linguistics. My common app essay is about how I felt isolated and weirded out (being a techy science guy) in an art program that I attended and how enrolling into the program changed my perception of art.
My Stanford Essays are really great(witty, humorous and intellectual all rolled into one!)
I hope that will help you

If Stanford seems too far , could you guys chance me for Cornell, CMU and Berkeley and Upenn? They me not be my absolute dream schools, but I have to target other schools too , right?

Would say a far reach for Stanford, reach for Cornell and UPenn, and match for CMU and Berkeley.

Stanford is never a guarantee for anyone… that much is pretty clear. I personally think there’s no point in chancing. I will say though, Stanford is unique, but there are other schools that are similar to Stanford that you might find fit your personality. Berkeley is a good choice, so is UCLA, as well as Duke on the East Coast.

I admire the energy and the passion here…but lines like this concern me “Stanford is the only school that fits my personality and I cannot see any other school that just fills me with passion inside out.” Because, truly, have you visited 200 colleges? Have you spoken with alumni/students/other applicants?

Look, the odds are that you aren’t going to get in. And that’s because nobody gets in. Yes, take the shot…but expand your mind too…with your background & stats, there are scores of truly excellent colleges for you out there…

Thank you @guccigirl‌ and @SouthernHope‌ . Haha I guess I am being a bit too rigid with my school choices :pensive:
Getting into Stanford would definitely be a dream come true but I definitely look forward to a satisfying college experience in general. Could you guys suggest any other colleges that I have a good shot at? (An outsider’s perspective might be nice  )

what was the research and where’s the link?

Why don’t you check out Georgia Tech?
