<p>How annoying was "...the incomparable...Leland Stanford Junior University Marching Band" and their "whatever" it was that had to do with Wal-Mart???</p>
<p>Was it just me or did they also cheer everytime WE scored!?!?</p>
<p>They seriously need new material. Same stuff they talked about at the game two years ago. It never even sounds like they are playing actual songs.</p>
<p>I was watching the game on television and I swear to god every opportunity the commentators had they took to describe how smart Stanford are with 1600 SATs and how they make the best game decisions because of their intelligence. Then they talked about Reggie Bush and how he got some Bs and an above 1100 SAT so he got in. It sounded like Stanford was playing the academic equivalence to a Compton Junior College. It just flustered me because USC is a very academic school with rigorous standards for admission.</p>
<p>hey its stanford don't worry about it, every university play to their own strengths, they got academics, we got athletics, its all good</p>
<p>Right, because the entire Stanford football team got admitted based completely on academic merit... <em>rolls eyes</em></p>
<p>And even if they did miraculously get in on academic merit, I'm sure they had 1600 SATs.</p>
<p>And if Reggie really did get only a few Bs and above a 1100 SAT, then I commend him, because that's still high above a lot of people, and that is truly fabulous for a star athlete.</p>
