Stanford Basketball

Hi guys,

How would you rank Maples Pavilion in terms of atmosphere? I was just wondering this because I would love to go to a school with a great sports atmosphere, but I would also want to go to a fairly selective school as well. Thanks.

Stanford B-ball all the way baby! Ranked #23 in the nation, beat UCLA, going to beat Cal tonight, that's what I'm talkin' about!

Maples is incredible. We went crazy after we beat UCLA. :)

We beat Cal tonight =D

It's great to see our team play! It's especially great if you sit in the student section or with the "Sixth Man" crew: a group of big basketball fans :)

what's all this about the lopez twins? campus celebrities? ;)

Yup, they are somewhat of the campus celebrities. :) Robin was in Gaieties this year too! We see them around all the time (hard to miss when they're that tall, lol). I had dinner with Brook the other night. :)

Robin lives next door to me, he's a funny guy! They are somewhat celeberities.

Robin was ridiculous in Gaities.

To add to celestial's comment: It's also really fun if you sit with the band. :)

I've been accepted to stanford through scea, and once i get there, I plan to walk-on to the basketball team. I'll be honest. I haven't played "organized" basketball since the 8th grade in middle school. I'm not "skilled" in an offensive or defensive sense. I'm 5'7 and overweight, but I've got quick hands. My left leg is longer than my right, and I'm legally blind. But what I DO have is more valuable than any other trait, and that's heart. And if movies have taught me anything, it's that the player with the most heart always wins.

Haha... i hope your joking pacers
