Stanford Debate Coach Contact Information Please!

Hello I am a senior and I wanted to learn more about Stanford's debate team. As a result, I was wondering if anyone knows who the current Stanford debate coach is and his/her email.

I tried searching but I could not locate the coach.

If anyone knows this information and can provide me it, I would be greatly pleased.

Thanks in Advance!

It looks on their website like it is a “society” rather than a team and there may not be a “coach” but just an advisor. They have a roster of members, so I would just e-mail the President who is a student. Or you might just try to get some general information on the Stanford forum.

What kind of debate? It matters.

If you mean policy, I THINK it’s still this guy:
[Brian Manuel isor of PolicyDebate at Stanford! - Pacific - Cross-X.com](http://www.cross-x.com/topic/51164-brian-manuel-is-the-new-director-of-policy-debate-at-stanford/)

I just checked LinkedIn. He still lists that as his current position.

If you did LD or PF, you’ll probably end up doing parli(amentary). In which case, last I knew the person to contact was Alex Alifimoff… email is aalifimoffATStanford.edu. He’s not a coach, just an officer.

In fact, even if you did policy, you might want to consider switching to parli. It’s much less time consuming than policy.

Hope that helps.
