DO I HAVE A SHOT?

It’s a reach for you and everybody else, period. There is nothing that you can do to change that. I’d worry more about tailoring your application in order to illustrate a clear and coherent picture of youself and polishing those essays to the best of your ability rather than asking about your chances in a literal admissions lottery. You have greater things to worry about, best of luck!

Edit: Just realized you already applied. Well, what’s done now is done; now you play the 5-6 week waiting game. In the end I hope that you are admitted but don’t start abandoning your RD applications either!

Thank you!

Did you get in?
