It's quite shocking how far students will go to attend a prestigious institution.

Holy crap she went to my school...o_O

That's what happens when you're a Troy student, hahahah.

Wow, I laughed... hard.

I'm reading the comments and I can't believe this happened at other places too! I'll never understand humanity.

Rofl these people are stupid, are all people like that at stamphord?

“Personally, I don’t feel safe now that Stanford allowed this to happen and that they’re not doing anything to ensure the safety of their students,” said Amy Zhou ‘08, Kim’s roommate in Okada. “I think something’s definitely wrong with the system if this could happen.”

OMG ALIEN INVAZION WE ARE ALL IN DANGER!! !!!

What's there to happen? Some student sneaks in. How could they possibly catch him? I don't even get the whole window climbing or whatever thing...I thought it's very common for students to spend over-nights in other dorm rooms...oh wait...it is common..

haha omg this is funny. how could that even happen?

Is this a hoax/ruse article or did this happen? No one else is reporting on this story. It is not in the national or local news.

It's true. The SF Chronicle picked it up today.

negru, I don't know why the reaction was like that. That certainly hasn't been everyone's reaction here, but the people who feel that way are probably much more likely to make their opinions known. I suspect at least part of it is responding to the (highly uncalled for) venom in the first Daily article. I suspect the reporter was trying to grab some headlines and make himself look good by breaking the story as loudly and dramatically as possible.
