<p>BEcause being a capitalistic, cold hearted, blank faced suit is not something that I enjoy doing. Moving opinions, shifting perspectives, being politically/societally active, now thats much more fun. You think just anyone can do both? Psh. Puhleeze!</p>

If you can tell more about that party you didn't enjoy and why you didn't enjoy it, that would be great, but just because someone is bashing Berkeley on another board doesn't mean you need to seek revenge-- just ask that person to stop.</p>
<p>I agree with turtle. And I'm a current Cal student. West Side, don't be a troll. Dissing Stanford on the Berkeley board is fine and perhaps even required. Dissing Stanford on the Stanford board is just annoying. (Same thing vice versa)</p>

<p>Ok the reason why it wasn't fun was because I went to better parties at Berkeley and I was spoiled. You see, if you drive a Yugo, and you only seen Yugo's in your entire life, you are going to be satisfied with a Yugo. </p>
<p>Now, if all of a sudden you see a hot Benzo, then all of a sudden, that Yugo doesn't look so good anymore. In fact, the Benz owner is going to laugh at you for even thinking that a Yugo was good.</p>
<p>See, when the Benz owner actually is nice enough to say "Hey, you know what, maybe Yugo's aren't so bad, I'm just spoiled cus I have a Benz", thats when the Benz owner reaches a new level of consciousness.</p>

<p>Actually, that was something I was quoting from WestSide's post. He said that was his reason for defending Berkeley. But it seems like his post has mysteriously disappeared!</p>

<p>Yeah, I'm pretty sure a moderator erased it, either just by noticing it, or someone may have clicked "Report Offensive Post." That happened before to a post I responded to and the entire thread disappeared. Makes this all look kind of stupid, huh?</p>
<p>Anyway, I looked up that superconductor stuff, but I only found that it keeps you from losing energy to inefficiency, not creating it out of nothing. It's still pretty cool though.</p>
<p>There's an old Cal tradition of spelling Stanford with a U, to mock the pronunciation of the name, to annoy their cross-Bay rivals, and to make up for being referred to as Weenies. The exit signs along Highway 101 get altered with paint by Cal students at least once a year.</p>
