I currently have a BA in Psychology from a top 20 Research One University, with a 3.95 GPA. Also, I hold 2 Master's Degrees. A Master of Science in Gerontology from the same top 20 Research One University as my undergrad, and a Master of Social Work from Columbia University in New York City. I worked as a paid research assistant in an fMRI lab at a top 20 Medical School in NYC for a year, and will be getting published in the next couple years. Also, I have thousands of hours of work and internship experience in professional settings. In both grad programs, I also have a 3.95 GPA for each. I will also have great letters of rec, and a great statement of purpose.

Everything on my app is great, with the exception of not being a great standardized test taker. I have not taken the GRE yet, but am wondering what scores I need to be competitive at the top schools. How heavily weighted is the GRE in top psychology PhD programs? Please elaborate as much as possible. Thanks.

PS, I am looking at an emphasis in neuroscience and psychology. I am also open to affective science or social psych.
