@Thea19 Where do you see that Science Technology and Society was discontinued? I’m not applying to it but to my knowledge, it wasn’t.

Yeah, its also a great major for pre-law I think where it allows you to focus more on your LSAT and such prep. Sadly the CS+X was discontinued because it reviewed to be too demanding/ tasking on students to balance both. https://news.stanford.edu/2019/01/24/csx-pilot-discontinued-end-spring-quarter/
It sucks that it discontinued. But since stanford has the “choose your own major” aspect, I wonder if our major declaration in our common apps actually matter.
Do we get to choose our major like the freshmans or do transfers work by a different system and get admitted to a specific major?
@Thea19 I applied for a different major (but I explained why in my essay). I don’t know if this helps.

We all have worked so hard during this transfer process and hopeful that at least one person on this thread will get in.
@Thea19 your major declaration doesn’t matter. Everyone comes in undeclared and you can pick a major at your leisure. You get some vague general transfer credits approved and it’s on you to go dept by dept getting individual course credit by sharing old transcripts
