<p>I plan on starting a business fairly quickly into my freshman year of college. I don't remember where, but I read somewhere in the materials that I received at orientation that I would need to get permission from someone at the college before starting. Why is this? Do they want to make sure they cannot be legally held for anything? WIll I need to bring a simple business plan; or even a detailed one? I'm just curious so that I will know what I need to have prepared before I attempt to get the permission.</p>
