I did terrible my first two years of community college, is it possible to start over as a freshman at another community college?
Your grades will follow you no matter where you transfer – you will get a new GPA for the new institution, but your old one doesn’t disappear.
You could also focus on diminishing those old grades’ impact by doing much better from here on out, even at the same school.
Is that so, really? I thought the grades, in a situation like this, will only follow if the student decides to submit the transcripts from the previous school. I don’t see any reason why the OP can’t start a new school afresh, if he so chooses, without submitting the transcripts from the previous CC, UNLESS it’s absolutely required by the new CC. OP might look into such policies at the new CC.
Colleges typically will specifically ask for the history of other institution that an applicant has attended and will want to see the transcripts.
Even if the CC doesn’t care about where you’ve previously attended, what happens when OP wants to transfer to a university? Hiding grades would be lying then.
