Statement of Purpose

<p>The admission cycle is approaching and I was told that I should start writing my first draft for grad school over summer. So far, I don't really know how to write one. I'm looking into Ph.D. program in political science for academic program, not professional masters or anything like that.</p>

<p>Does anyone have any format/advice/tips/warnings/etc regarding statement of purpose?</p>

<p>Google them up. There are a lot of terrific resources out there, especially Berkeley’s. I haven’t found a site that wasn’t helpful or gave poor advice.</p>
