Stats anyone?

Hello, I would like to know how many UC Berkeley students apply to medical schools, what percentage are acceped, and what kinds of medical schools they go to. Anyone with a site with these stats? Help would be greatly appreciated!

This is a strange website someone told me about the other day, check it out:
<a href="http://www.mdapplicants.com/%5B/url%5D">http://www.mdapplicants.com/</a></p>

that website is pretty cool. Only thing is that I thought the AVERAGE GPA was somewhat high and mcats above average for med schools. They are probably overachievers like CC.:)

I agree. I would very much liken mdapplicants to this site, not to mention some of the profiles on there are made up.

They are made up and overacheiving? How did you find that out norcalguy?

norcalguy is suggesting two things:

First, the average GPA and MCAT scores on the site are higher than the national average for students accepted to medical school, much less all applicants. Therefore, he is assuming - I think correctly - that the people who post their profiles on the site are generally from the higher-performing portion of premeds.

Second, I can attest to the fact that the site uses no verification whatsoever - we can thus assume that at least a few of the profiles are not real.

please don't use that website it is just plain ludacris. go and do your own research kid
