stats for a friend

one of my friends wants me to put up her stats just so she can see what type of school she can get into. She has a great SAT score but is not great
overall.

rank: 84/644
GPA: 4.1/4.6
SAT: 2370 (790M,800CR, 780W)
SAT II's: she is taking english lit. and bio in june
ACT: 34

EC's:
octagon club (9,10,11,12)
key club (9,10,11,12)
didnt make NHS
science league
had a job in grocery store
varsity softball (10,11,12)
JV softball (9)

AP's: (including ones planned for senior year)
English, bio, us history, govt./politics, stat

Volunteer work:
200+ hrs at hospital

Thats all she told me as of now, if theres anything forgotten please tell me. She wants to know if she has any chance in the Ivies, even though her overall stats arent too great but her standardized test scores are great.

She does, but why go to the ivies if she's not trying to her full capabilities in high school? Is shee just looking at prestige?

shes one of those people who are naturally really smart but just hasnt applied herself until junior year. i guess she realized how close college was and kind of realized it too late. now she is applying herself and doing the best she can.

That's good for her, but does she actually want to go there?
It is good that she is applying herself, but admissions are goping to be harsh on her rank and her lack of some "passion" thing

She should apply anyway...Ivies just tend to give themselves adulation that is sometimes unwarranted, and because of that, they have unreasonably high standards and miss out on some of the kids like your friend

so with her current stats, what schools sound like a reach for her and saftey schools. She wants ot go into pre-med.

Her class rank will kill her at top ivies. Maybe there's a chance at other top schools with a great presentation but it doesn't seem likely with the lackluster ec list.
