<p>What are the Stats of people that are rejected from Schools like American, BU, and on the flip side schools like Oberlin and Kenyon? I've been wondering this for a while and just wanted to know because really you only hear about people that re accepted most of the time.</p>

<p>Go to the individual college forums and find Results threads, they will give stats for accepted, denied and WLed applicants.</p>
<p>MO boy: you might be on a fools’ errand. Schools like those consistently report that the metrics of those accepted almost mirror the next tier of rejected students.</p>
<p>Basically if school X accepts 1000 students and rejects 8000 students, the closest (but rejected) 1000 students look exactly like those who were accepted.</p>
