comestarg, thanks. I realized that I was not even looking at the correct thing when I tried the first time. It doesn’t work for us. We both tried it, and comes up saying error, they can’t locate the information. I have a letter stating that his file is complete. It is strange. Oh well.

Congratulations to all accepted seniors! I grew up in Madison, NJ very near the Drew campus, live now in New England. My son is applying to Drew. He loved Drew when we visited last spring. Just curious, did everyone who was accepted have an interview? My son met several times with the New England rep, but did not have an actual interview. He missed the priority deadline due to a concussion, but was happy to receive a card saying that the deadline has been extended until 12/19/09. His GPA and SAT’s are strong and he hopes to play soccer. Any thoughts on the necessity of the interview?

cometstarg has the correct format. Weird that it only works for me. I just did it again.

I never had an official interview, but I had a good ten-minute discussion with an admissions officer at my school’s college fair. I was never told it was mandatory, but I got in (that phrase is so fun to say!).

My daughter didn’t interview at all. She did visit and tour, though. And she got in with a generous scholarship.

Thanks rose4emily and zoosermom. Your words are reassuring. My son also toured and was quite impressed, but did not feel a need to interview after a few meetings with the New England rep. We will wait with fingers crossed.

I go to Drew now, and when I applied I never did an interview. I do not think that it is required. Drew actually gives applicants the option of whether or not they even want to submit their SAT scores. Instead, applicants are allowed to submit a graded piece of written work. I am going to notify the admissions office of the problem with the status checker today.
