I'm looking for a full ride in particular - do you think I have a chance for Chicago's merit program? (Chicago's my #1) What about the Robertson program at UNC and Duke? Other places?

Gratias multas vobis ago!

I’d say you’re in to most for sure except Duke Princeton + Johns Hopkins although they’re not far off at all…!! I don’t know anything about scholarships sorry :(

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/762270-best-ill-ever-chance-back.html

^Someone who asks you to “chance back” is not fit to chance someone.

Anyways.

For you, its mostly the essays lol. Your stats/ECs are mediocre.

University of Chicago (Reach)
Duke (High Reach)
Princeton (Super High Reach)
University of Virginia (High Match)
William and Mary (High Match)
University of Dallas (Match)
University of North Carolina (Match)
Randolph-Macon (What is this?)
University of Richmond (Match)
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor (Match)
Scripps (Match)
Johns Hopkins (High Reach)

Thank you. :)

Randolph-Macon is a local-ish private, respected by those who know if it but confused with Randolph College by others. I know two of the classics professors there and they are absolutely amazing. It’s probably a match.

May I ask what about my stats/ECs is mediocre? I’m aware that the EC inconsistencies will hurt me (Rhode Island didn’t have scholastic bowl, and I didn’t know I hated MUN until I spent a year at it in Virginia. But I wasn’t about to stick through it for the sake of my application.) But honestly I can’t say I’ve ever seen top 1% and 2280SAT called mediocre. Perhaps I’m just confusing guidance counselor context with CC context, though.

University of Chicago-Reach
Duke-Reach
Princeton-Reject
University of Virginia-Match since you’re instate
William and Mary-Match
University of Dallas-Safety
University of North Carolina-High match
Randolph-Macon-Safety
University of Richmond-High match
University of Michigan-Ann Arbor-Low reach
Scripps-Don’t know
Johns Hopkins-Low Reach/Reach

As you can see you look like the ubiquitous smart applicant. Try to write interesting essays since your EC’s put you down.
