Stereotypical

I've seen a trend in the chances thread that's really irking me: almost always, on an asian student's chance thread, there's always a message saying how stereotypical they are. It's ridiculous. First I saw the common "oh you're into math/science, your stereotypical for your race." However, surprisingly I also saw "oh your awesome at violin/piano/instrument/etc, your stereotypically asian." Furthermore I even have witnessed comments like "you do track, your stereotypical." So basically, what? It seems asians are stereotyped to be awesome at everything in the viewpoints of many posters on this forum. Surprisingly I haven't seen much of "oh your a tri-varsity athelete, your stereotypically black."

I thought I would like to point out that observation.

I'd like to point out that tons of stereotypical asains get into top colleges.

You can only use the black stereotype if they are D-1 recruited.

Dude, how long have you lived in America?

thats cuz black ppl dont usually talk on a college related forum.

who cares, sterotypes are everywhere.
