Stereotyping by College Major

<p>Wants to live in Tokyo and be a multimillionaire? </p>

<p>Arts and Humanities (single major) double in anthropology</p>

Philosophy/Prelaw</p>

<p>Someone who wants to go into non-profit law.</p>

<p>Arts and Humanities (single major) double in anthropology</p>

<p>Philosophy: likes to read a lot, very analytical and introspective, sometimes “quirky types”
prelaw - not really a major so you can’t stereotype, but often worried about getting good grades and acing the LSAT</p>

Anthropology - very interested in cultures and traveling
might go live abroad to study a random ethnic group, or a forensic anthropologist like in Bones lol</p>

<p>typical nyu student; will either go to Law school or get MBA</p>

<p>^^^Someone who thinks they’re brilliant because they can mention the ramifications of foreign policy decisions in mundane conversations. They’ll be competing with 10,000 other people for a job at the state department.</p>

<p>Someone who will not have a job in ten years. </p>

<p>Someone who will have a job in ten years, but will be miserable and will turn to heroin to put excitement in his/her life. </p>
