Still,a new explanation of GAOKAO

After receiving a LAC's offer, and still ready to take the GAOKAO in June, I look back to see my whole high school life, and find myself have much to say about the controversial Gaokao thing.

First of all, I advocate those students, who want to search for great challenges to have the whole experience like this. If you want your senior year to become a pure one, not really pure for just taking a decisive exam, but the kind of purity to elevate your persistence and your theoretic academic ability. You will not only learn that, the reality is cruel, and the world has much left to complain about, but also that, the world is still full of opportunities and hope, if you strive for it, if your aim is so clear and unchangeable, aim for the top institute in the biggest developed country, and last and the best, prove yourself in a fairest way: no racial background, no financial situation, no even honor curriculum or a low-qualified school will affect your performance, only if you try hard. Just thinking about the image, you rank the top 0.001% among 7,300,000 students and go to the so-called top universities nationally. I think that kind of happiness is precious, the value of Gaokao lies in this.

And you learn all of thing, which people argue that will damage your social skills like communication, leadership or anything. But I think it is a misunderstanding. Those who lose balance between study and social activities will probably unable to change, even though be placed in the strongest education system which produce well-rounded citizens like the US. One of my father's friends' son, pay to learn in the Oregon University, and after two years, when he went back to China during spring break, I had a dinner with him. Surprisingly, I tried to speak English with him, I asked: How do you feel about your school's orchestra. He didn't know how to reply. It is not exaggerated. Back to the topic, you can become the person you want to be, in a Chinese educational system, if you try hard, you will become even greater person than you can ever imagine, if you stop complaining, face the challenge, and try to be successful.

Guys and girls do have infinite block in such stressing situation. But I say, you must, try to become the person you want to be. You can have girlfriends and maintain a good grade, if you consider your girls and guys as companions and teammates to pass through a vital life game, or rainstorm. Rainbow is available for everyone, only if, you never give up. The top 2 students in my high school is a pair, they are quiet famous, they almost maintain the unchangeable status of NO1 and NO2 all the time since Senior 3, even though, the girl is always No2.

Yes, most of people unable to pursue their interests, and have to make hard decision between arts and science, but, I personally transfer from arts to science, and did it not bad. I feel like the training I yet got in math and physics most efficiently enhance my logic thinking and calculation skill and the painful year receiving the brain washing politics education actually stimulated me to reach out for the real history and government.

Why I am writing this, I don't really know. I will learn in the US this fall, if fall to be admitted to PKU, and I think learning in the US will be the most probable possibility. I don't like how the Americans think all the Chinese students to be like the same, dull ass learner, diffident expression due to our education. It has nothing wrong with our education, and for some of the Chinese students, they are open-minded an willing to share. Some of them are victims, I admit, but as the old Chinese saying goes," those who look poor, must be those who are hateful." And some of them are really good.

And I don't feel comfortable to be aimed for an ATM from a Chinese bank in the university, so I apply for financial aid for all the schools I applied, though even one admitted and several wait lists, it still feels great. Some of us choose America because we love it, we want to make new friends and integrate, not really to skip the whole Gaokao thing.

Another situation from which I see inequality is that, annually, more than 200,000 Chinese take the SAT for the best education in the US, but why can't available for the US students? I don't know, if in my class, there is an American student want to take the Gaokao with us, we will feel it crazy. But I feel it the right step.

你是高考还是留学?

他应该两个都是吧。

First you should not post in Chinese on cc.
Second, if op does not improve his writing in English he will have problems in the USA schools. Your Chinese English is confusing.
