Still "Being reviewed".. I feel a rejection

Is my feeling correct? or is there some other hope?

My d just went into review today and I feel the same way......I don't think that all of those people who are in review are rejected though......

if you look at the thread about everyone whose gotten in and which school, it is clear that more than 27% have already been accepted by USC (of those who are active on this board). while its nice to dream, i highly doubt half the acceptances are still to come. unfortunately, (this includes myself) i feel a rejection coming as well.

I got my letter few days ago and my status says still being reviewed. Worry not!

a lot of my friends (so cal) have been getting their status changed recently
and then two-three days later got acceptances
this is only in the past week

so don't worry yet!

nave462000, it looks to me that acceptances are much more scarce in the College of Arts and Sciences than in the other schools, from which I conclude that acceptances are still forthcoming from CofAS.

JW Muller i really hope that is true that there will be more acceptances from college of arts and science haha

haha ditto
tammers..what major did you apply under?

international relations/ global business
i wanted to do business but since i herd it was harder to get in for marshall i decided to apply for one under College of arts and sciences
how about you?

yeah, i heard that for business too..but you can always transfer into marshall =)
as for me, i applied under biological sciences

I'm still being reviewed too, but my status last changed 2/12, that's almost 2 months ago!! After reading all the posts on status-change theories, my situation makes on sense at all!

I'm thinking maybe they didn't recieve something, or maybe they're just really conflicted, because i have an unweighted 3.7, weighted 4.1, 2090 SATs, 750/710 SATIIs, but i left the first short answer empty on accident. i hope that didn't kill my chances, but i figure if they were going to reject me for that, they would have done it automatically.

one of my friends last year got his acceptance mid-april, so let's keep our fingers crossed.

uh oh, u probably should have contacted them about that cuz they prob would have let u fixed it...i got to send in my supplement letter of intent, idk if they just took it so i wouldnt bother them or if they actually planned on looking at it

Jeez, I'm also "being reviewed", and I'm freakin out!! It's March 28th, and they say they will have decided by April 1st!! What's going on here??

At least I know the other guy who applied from my school hasn't found out either. USC is my top choice, and the wait is just killing me.

I have a question though.. there hasn't been any rejection yet.. right? Which means all rejections will be announced on April 1st.. So basically if we don't hear anything from USC until then it's most likely a rejection..

not necesarrily...there have been people who have been accepted mid-april last year.......I wouldnt really assume anything untill i get rejected or accepted.

My status is also "being reviewed". What else is it susposted to say? Should the next acceptance wave be today, friday?

yup, today is the last batch. the grande finale.

It will be sent out today not necessarily received

yea. But most probably us internationals will get an email from DHL.
Although its not a hard and fast rule.

If today is the last batch, why do some people get accepted mid-April? Do they really leave people hanging that long?
