Still Haven't Received Orientation Info

Hey, I'm gonna be a Wolverine next year. (Yay!) I sent my deposit in near the end of April, but still haven't received any orientation info. I got my first year class guide yesterday, but it seems weird that they would send that before orientation info. Is this normal?

Are you an international student?

I never got any orientation info (not even the first year course guide) but when I called they had sent it, so I was able to go online and register anyway. As long as you've read the brochure (which is online) you won't have trouble. You do have to call and verify that they've sent the "Invitation" though or it won't let you go through the online registration process.

Heck, I've got orientation Monday and still haven't even received the "info about orientation packet" so I know what to bring, etc. When I called today they just said if I don't have it by Friday afternoon to call and they'll fax the important info to me...nothing like lots of time to plan :-p

When I called the orientation office yesterday, they just laughed at me for being confused about it, and told me not to worry and just to come. Now that I think about it, I'm not really too sure when it starts...

I live in-state, and I guess I'll just have to print the brochure off the website or something and then sign up for an orientation date. I just think it's strange because I thought they were supposed to send the brochure to you in the mail soon after you sent the deposit in. Hmm..

You can't sign up for classes or orientation until they send you the brochure. I tried signing up for orientation but I get a message saying that "You don't have access to this page because the brochure hasn't been sent to you"...or something like that.
