waitlisted…declined spot

Waitlisted tonight…

Were you early response or regular decision?

What are your stats?

waitlisted tonight too! RD.

A few more of my friends were accepted this evening

Waitlisted tonight.
Regular decision; submitted late December.

On one of the other threads it was said that they issued too many acceptances and therefore were holding off decisions so as to give earlier admits more time to decline. The group of people wait-listed tonight would lend credibility to that, as it gives an extra month in which people can decline.
Even though I probably would not have attended, if it’s true that they over-enrolled by accepting too many too early and therefore excluded more qualified applicants, I will be irate. I will be incandescent. There are other people who had their heart set on Michigan who are being excluded just because they submitted later or because the committee just didn’t get around to their applications in time.

(Also, if it’s true they over-enrolled, I have a hunch they’ll be getting rid of rolling admissions.)

waitlisted… xD regular decesion, app submitted december 1. bout time i’ve received a stupid decision though.

better than being straight up rejected…

waitlisted-originally deferred after applying ER

am I the only one not waitlisted?

“A decision will be arriving in the mail.”

micahg- That might be a good thing. You probably got in.

Waitlisted. humbug.

Same here. Daughter waitlisted.

micahd, that means you’ve been waitlisted…otherwise an acceptance would have appeared on wolerine access

and clyde did you get in?

@quiksilverbq

I think it means denied admission, actually; both waitlisted and admitted tend to show up on WA.

Yeah, my s too got waitlisted last night. Sent in appli on Jan 27. How many of you have responded to accept waitlist already? Anybody on how they take in wailisted students or whether they do at all?

waitlist… not going now though

waitlisted

has anyone been rejected?

son just got WL’ed after deferral in DEC. Did anyone get in in this last round or did they just move all the deferrals to WL?
