<p>a friend of mine last year had all her pre-reqs done, good gpa, and a TRANSFER AGREEMENT with UCSD and still didnt get in.
She appealed, obviously, and got in.</p>

all these two years i was planning to go to UCD! i never visited any of the other UCs web sites... only UCD!
i also thought that with a 3.0 we would get in... i think i was wrong :(</p>
<p>at least we both got accepted somewhere else and dont have to stay at the CC forever!</p>

<p>i had a 3.93...i did get in out of highschool with a 1310 and 3.96...but i think what hurt me is that I'm out of state...i really hope this doesn't basically gaurantee a rejection from berk and LA</p>
<p>i think that about 80-95% of admitted students were from CA. they give them priority.</p>

<p>maybe they assumed blackdream would goto the better schools, LA or Berk? Admissions make no sense whatsoever! I don't think I would have gone to Davis anyway...maybe they read my mind? Who knows...</p>
<p>Wow that sucks....I bet each school places emphasis on different requirements. Didn't someone say Davis and SB really want you to complete your major coursework before transferring? They would take that over a high GPA..</p>

<p>I have about 3 friends with +3.7 GPA, and they all applied to both UCSD and UCD. UCSD took them on the first day, but UCD rejected them all, two guys actually have 4.0 (myself included)</p>
<p>while I do not have IGTEC and lacks two classes, the other guy with 4.0 has EVERYTHING.</p>

maybe there are more crazy people in SB than in D :) And thats where i will have more jobs (psych) :D</p>
