It's leaving whatever abbreviation I'm putting it on. When it first loaded, it was just the first major on the list, which was accounting. I scrolled down to WST and left it on there, and it stayed on there, but I can change it to anything else, such as Undecided, and if I reloaded it says Undecdied. When I change it back to WST, and then reload, it says WST.

ZBR...if i had to guess, it sounds like you are accepted to the University and maybe cntv has not communicated their decision to admissions yet. Didn't you say they told you your app was "in review"?

That's alright, I'll let it go for tonight. Maybe I'll call them tomorrow and see what the deal is. Thanks for your help!

i still cant login ;)

okayyy so I just called USC admissions to see if my application has been reviewed yet and the guy (who was actually really nice about it) said "I cant tell you what decision has been made" so i said "that's fine, can you just tell me if my application has been reviewed or when I should hear back?" and he said "no sorry, I cant tell you any of that"..... which i found to be really weird since i'm almost positive that people on this board have called and have been told if their application was done being reviewed or if its still under consideration....he didnt take my name or my usc number or anything so its not like I was rejected and he just didnt want to tell me...he just said he "wasnt able" to give me any of that information. All he would say is that all the rest of the decisions should be out during the first week of April-rejection AND more admissions. so don't lose hope yet!

thanks, jcal088! that's really good information.

Have any non-scholarship Marshall people heard yet?

I applied to Marshall by the scholarship deadline and still haven't heard.

Just received son's acceptance packet in the mail, so be patient. He's been accepted into their school of engineering. They said they will be sending out decisions about NMF scholarships next week.

Thanks, jcal088! My family was just trying to persuade me to call admissions when I read your entry. Your dialogue pretty much says it all....

jcal088. What it sounds like is that the guy was being completely honest with you. When they start this whole process, they are told that they are to tell you "By April 1st" or whatever, and that even if they are looking at the computer that says "accepted" next to your profile, they are suppossed to tell you, "your application is still in review."

They do this so that people don't chain call them hoping that a decision will have been made that day on their app and that they can find out early. It is suppossed to be their deterent to people doing this to tell them "still in review" even if its already been mailed out so that they have a plan that every admissions person follows, regardless of your personal decision.

What it sounds like is that this guy was letting you know, there really has been a decision, but the OFFICIAL word is not available at this time and so he can't say anything helpful but make up crap about it will be mailed eventually so he just decided to tell you nothing, which is all he can really say, instead of giving you his prepared speech about decisions, which it sounds like he didn't feel like giving anymore (probaly for the 100th time that day).

Hope this is helpful and somewhat incitful (and hopefully a deterent to you all who keep chain calling them... give it up).

this is making me sooo nervous!!!! i haven't received anything in the mail except scholarship rejection and i can't log onto that explore usc thing. i'm annoyed. anyone in the same boat as me?

I LOGGED ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW! I am about to faint, WOW!
hellothere, we have all been there, if I've learned something from the college application experience, is do not make expectations, because they WILL ALL BE WRONG! don't expect, just try from the bottom of your heart to be patient. That is about all you can do. And please: DON'T SMOKE DURING NERVOUS TIMES! at least I did sometimes, and it is not a good thing to do. I am with you, please, don't lose hope whatever you do, you will be surprised.

CONGRATS nACHONTONDI1..Question.....what school did you apply to? I am just curious if anyone has heard from Marshall.

I am a CNTV applicant

congrats! its useless worrying. either they will send you a thin envelope or thick one. I also haven't received mine and can't log in. But I won't be surprised when I open mine...I've been rejected by 4/5 colleges so far.

I got my acceptance letter today. I applied to the engineering at the scholarship deadline.

Congrats nachontondi1, congrats everyone who's getting into USC!

I'm still patiently waiting here in MA. Who am I kidding, I haven't been patient since March started!

hellothere77, we're in the same boat... here's hoping!
