However, it seemed like anyone's letter that was mailed April 1st (or later) was a rejection. The only exception were a couple hundred Spring admit letters. OMG I hope I hear this week!</p>

<p>Westside....there are about 200 spring admits who won't hear by Saturday. So you can continue to dangle on the hook....this sucks. I just found a "**** College Adcomm's" thread; hope I won't be posting there :-(</p>
<p>A friend of our son (who got in a couple of weeks ago) got his acceptance 2 days ago. So they have been rolling in for a long time and are continuing to do so. If you have a 1400+ and a 3.8 + adjusted, you still have a good chance. The main problem now is the low admit rate, so it's down to subtle and minor points of distinction. You will all get into USC or another great school, so don't stress too much, you will be fine.</p>

<p>Anyone here get an acceptance from Film and Television writing? Not just the general acceptance but into the actual F&T writing dept. Also, how many have gotten their mail acceptances in the southern Cal area?</p>
<p>Yes. We went on a tour of about 9 schools last summer (east and west) and almost every one of them said they were not going to put a lot of weight on the new writing section because they don't really know it means yet. They need a couple of years to get it dialed in. So the old 2 sections are still the most important.</p>

<p>Westside, i think your on to something. When i called last friday she told me that mine would be sent out Thursday or Friday and im from NorCal so it should get here by Sat. Its Prom though some im hoping its a nice acceptance packet.</p>
