Hey, i hate to dredge up old memories, but i just wanted to say to 12041987 that i thank you for all your brutal honesty and that that is what i want to hear right now, not some dolled up s*** about "oh you still have a chance" when i don't or that my odds aren't great or whatever.

No news is good news, thats just bs. I'd rather just get it over with. See, college decissions are like a band-aid, you want to get it done with quick in hopes that the results are good, but drawing things out like this, well, that always hurts in the end, it never works to take the band-aid off slow.

In summary, i hate to be such a prick (but not really) but all of you, (including myself), shouldn't take to making completed unfactuallly based assumptions towards someone we've never even met that they are a liar and should "leave off...", just because they were trying to be helpful and you didn't like the info they gave you. Get over it!! Seriously, I know a lot of you think w/o USC, its the end of the world, its not, you will give up, you will move on and you will forget and be happy.

Oh, and just a disclaimer, even though i am a prick, im still a prick who has no acceptance to USC and will probably get rejected. Thanks for the info 12041987, it was helpful :P.

btw....that God's Son dude is a little kid sitting behind his/her computer and laughing about his/her little comical jokes. to say things like 'throw away an acceptance letter if you receive it on a friday or thursday"....you gotta be pretty bored posting weird things like that. but hey it kind of made me laugh so i guess it's all in a day's work God's son. i commend you

That was a pretty bipolar post there hello.... :) ..... still waiting too!!! Haven't heard a thing.... not even a scholarship rejection letter (applied before scholarship deadline)

My son's acceptance came via regular mail in a large envelope with a folder & info about housing, orientation options & even a certificate. It was a nice packet.

Thanks for the congratulations! ElCartero can pick whichever school he genuinely prefers, because I'm not accepting my place on the Claremont McKenna waitlist, and I already got my USC acceptance packet about a month ago. That being said, I don't think I'll be going to USC, so maybe he will be able to take MY spot.

i haven't heard anything from USC yet..i live in cali, and i submitted my app back in january. i did have to send in some tax forms at the beginning of March.

My son has never received any course selection book either, but he was admitted. I believe he applied in December & was admitted in late March, in Engineering.
