<p>If I worked for the ****ing Postal Service, I wouldn't be applying to USC. In other words, I don't have a clue. I'm in norcal too and I hope it's tomorrow.</p>

<p>yeah...... so I know practically all these posts say the same thing every day yet it is somewhat reassuring to all panic together. lol</p>
<p>dont worry guys... when i got accepted, i found out over the phone on a monday (the lady said my letter was sent the previous thursday). i couldn't access exploreUSC until Tuesday, and my letter arrived Wednesday... and I live in NorCal. so don't freak out : )</p>
<p>I sent in my app. for the Jan deadline...the Explore USC site does not work for me.....no letter yet....i really want to go....is that a bad sign?</p>
<p>i thought they didn't tell you over the phone? (i've actually heard some ridiculous stories of people calling admissions offices and asking questions about their apps, trying to tell from the tone of the counselor's voice whether or not they got in!)</p>

<p>well... i was accepted beginning of february. when i called, she didn't say "yes, you're in..." but she said "oh, you haven't gotten it yet? they mailed them out thursday.... just a minute...okay you'll be receiving a packet in a couple days." so technically she didn't tell me over the phone, but i'm pretty sure you can have your app status checked over the phone.</p>
<p>Has anyone actually received a rejection letter?</p>
<p>I called the day before I recieved my acceptance, but they weren't as forthcoming as with sarahjhansen. The admission people were really pleasant with me, but they didn't really hint that I was accepted. Then again, I can be very naive.</p>

<p>I applied before the scholarship deadline, but I know people who applied after and have heard back as well.</p>
<p>really? do you know when they heard? I really want to get in I hope its not a bad sign! I got into UCSD but USC is my top choice!</p>
