Still time to cancel/withhold AP scores to colleges?

Hey fellow members,

Now that it is time for us to send in our college apps, do we still have time to cancel/withhold our AP scores so that colleges will not see them?

Also, I'm kinda rusty about sending AP scores to colleges. Is it done in a similar fashion as sending in SAT scores, or do colleges automatically get our AP scores?

Thank you for your time.

After taking the exams you take for the year, you have until June 15 to withhold or cancel the exams for that year. If you have withhold a score, then you could call AP services to withhold it. If you haven’t you can’t withhold a score. So, it’s not similar to the SAT scores.

Is there any way to withhold a score AFTER June 15?

It’s been answered in the other older thread that you bumped: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/ap-tests-preparation/740214-can-you-still-withhold-cancel-grades-colleges-after-you-receive-your-grades.html#post13043694

Does the request to withhold scores have to be handwritten (I’m asking because the collegeboard website says that I have to send a “signed, written” request. Does that “signed, written” mean handwritten?) And for the signature, does it have to be my full name? Because I only put the first letter of my first name in my signature.
